Volunteer with Neighbourly Care

Are you ready to help the elderly in your community with a wide range of services and activities aimed at prolonging independent living?

Our work is supported by a large team of volunteers.

We believe that volunteering should be mutually beneficial; beneficial for volunteers as well as residents.

Our volunteers are mostly motivated by a desire to make a contribution, to make a difference. For volunteers with a particular skill set there is the chance to share their knowledge, skills or learning to make a difference to others.

A desire to make a difference to our community

Some of our volunteers have a particularly strong feeling about supporting vulnerable people in our community and a desire to tackle injustice.

Wanting to develop confidence or skills, to learn or expand horizons

Our younger volunteers and our volunteers from refugee communities are often motivated by the desire to learn something new or become more confident or skilled.

The desire to improve career prospects also motivates some of our student and younger volunteers and those with a refugee background wanting to find work.

Whatever your motivation there is a place and an opportunity for you with our volunteer team.
